Want the 50/50 sliders, the nice glass door in the back and carpet inside. Narrowed it down to to caps jason zone or the leer xr can get both for the same price wondering who makes the better cap???

Default Both are good caps.

Leer is a bigger company which may or may not be a good thing.

I built myself this one. My dog loves it! Saves alot of gas too.

I think both of those are made in Elkhart, IN as is pretty much of the other brands too. Either way, you'll be helping those guys down there keep their jobs, that area has gotten hit really hard by the economy. I like the leer caps better, IMO.

Never heard of a Jason, but I have a Leer on my KR and have been happy with it so far. It has nice lines to compliment the truck and the hardware seems pretty heavy duty. Have a Leer on my '97 F150 also and it has been a good canopy.

I have a Century "Royal" on my 09 SCrew. Century is owned by the same company that own's Leer and I was told by the dealer, uses some of the same molds on their newer models. Regardless, it was $300.00 less than the equivelant leer and I am really happy with it.

I ended up going with the jason they matched the price of the leer and i did not have to drive 2 hours. They also have a cool led light that has a switch on the gas shock when u open the back latch the light comes on. Its pretty sweet. should be here next week

plz post back with some pics when it's on. sounds like a nice cover, trucks around here have them & they look fine. I preferred the leer only b/c of the style of the rear glass. both seem well made.

more features, same price, no 2 hr drive? can't beat that!

Default A.r.e.

Does anyone have an A.R.E. cap? Sorry Bondo, but that thing is ugly. Just my opinion though.

I have never seen a Jason but plan on going with the Leer XR on my next truck. Pictures seem to indicate a really nice fit and that is important when you spend all this money on a truck. I bought ARE shells in the past but the company has been bought out and the quality of the shell on my current truck is dissapointing to say the least. If it were not for the fact that I am buying a new truck I would have replaced the shell on my current one.
