Our trucks are not very visible at night with stock tail lights so tinting them only makes the problem worse. I ride motorcycles and one of my concerns is getting rear ended, especially at night so I have extra brake lights that blink when initially engaged. I was driving behind my friend with a '11 F150 at night and noticed that the truck was barely visible on the highway at more than 50' behind him. I didn't want to be rear ended in my truck so I ordered a LED tailgate bar for more visibility. They work as running lights, turn signals, brake and reverse lights. Highly recommend it.

that looks awesome. which bar is that if u dont mind me askin?

I'm really only want to do the lights bar I'm keeping black tails one way or the other. I could just keep taking my parents cars but my mom is getting mad about that. To me she the greatest, other people might not think so

Edit: here is a pic of the both of us

Nice but I don't need the reverse feature. I think I found a very cheap way that I can do it that would allow me to do a few things since a roll of the lights I found is $20 for 16 ft (saw this in another thread)

Edit: this is why I don't need the reverse function in these pics and right now those make all other normal lights turn red

Well I now have to remove the tint according to my mom an hour after she told me I'm not allowed to add any more lights to the back off the truck and that I wouldn't be taking off the tint. And I started thinking about what I'll do and I have decided I will keep most of the tint on but will tape off 2 squares over the actual lights with the reverse light and sides of the light taped off. And remove the 9 coats of paint I have on those areas then either leave it with those 2 red squares on each taillight or I will add one light coat on those spots so it appears still tinted but the light shines thought like stock. What do y'all think
