Default LED Map/Dome Lights

Hey Guys,

First post on here!

Wondering if anyone of you have swapped out the stock dome/map lights for some white LED's? I'm having an issue where the LED that's in the center of the 3 always stays very dimly lit even when the doors are shut. The other two that have push buttons to turn on work fine. But the center light that usually turns on when the door opens just won't turn off. Has anyone bought a brand that works good for them?

Yeah I think I'm just gonna have to find another set somewhere online. Just not sure if it was something bad with the internal wiring of the truck or what have you. I'll see what else exists out there...

I actually found half the bulbs i got sucked. I used the best ones and only changed my dome lights.

Cheap chinese leds are like that lol.

Some of them where too big for the housing lol (license plate bulbs)

From my observation, people tend to have problems when putting led in turn signals.

I really like my JDM ASTAR lights. They are bright and I have had them for 4 months so far and no issues at all.

You get what you pay for. Diode Dynamics. All of theirs I've bought still work perfectly and haven't faded in output. All the cheap crap I've bought fade and/or die within a couple years at the most, usually more like a couple months. LEDs are supposed to last for 50000, 100000, sometimes more HOURS of use.

Although, a small glow can happen with any LEDs. That's more on the truck's electric because LEDs use so little power and can turn on at any power.

I bought cheap LED's for my 2011 work van and they all stayed lit dimly. Put the Sylvania Zevo bulbs in and they went out completely.
