Default LED light bar

What size light bar will fit in the bumper of a 2013 FX4? I'm looking at the 24" or the 20". Anybody installed one on this truck before?

Default LED light bar

I went with the 20" eyourlife bar on amazon. Price and the mounts were the deciding factor in this. Mounting was extremely simple as the brackets went right in the license plate bracket holes with only a minor amout of drilling to make the bolt holes larger. So far I am very happy with the bar!

Default LED light bar

Yes tight fit but it is almost perfectly centered. I agree very bright, a lot more light than I expected for the price

How far does it stick out. Also did you use the two bolts in the center on top of that opening? If so I guess you removed those and drilled them out? Or are there other mounting screws?

Looks like it's bolted on the bottom of the bar and bumper.

You can also bolt it to the holes in the top of the opening. My 2010 had holes in the top of the opening. I had to make a couple straight brackets to sit the light back into the hole a little better. Added some washers and boom, good to go.
