my *** or parent built truck then sure why not but there are a lot more things Id rather spend $1300 on or $400(cubes). My 30" is extremely bright by the way but to each their own on what they want to buy.
Like you said though you get what you pay for, however if you do proper research & find a company that has warranty then your laughing at the deal. I could also buy 9 more lightbars before I would reach the cost of the 1 rigid. If I have to buy another 30" in 3 or so years because mine craps out I'll be okay with that too. Mine could screw up tomorrow & I could get a new one for free. Also from what I read get the IP68 if you can.

^ To add to that I do understand that rigids are apparently a lot brighter but like I said my 30" is still really bright & im happy with it. I also have 6000k HIDS to. Not trying to start an argument with you, just figured I would let people know not all knock offs have horror stories. My friend has had his knock off for a lot longer than me & 0 problems as well

I just put a set of cubes on mine (same location connected with the h10 pigtail adapters) and anytime I turn on the fog light switch (the led cubes) all of my radio stations turn to pure static. Any ideas?

mounting options
I have a 2001 f150 lariat and i want to mount some pods in my fogs. My problem is that there are no mounting brackets for my year model. I was wondering if anyone else has done it and how?

I put a 2 sets of d2's in my 15 f150 one white and one amber on either side, I wired the whites direct from my battery and put a switch in my dash. The ambers I spliced into my factory fog light wires so I could use the factory button. The white ones work great and get lots of light from them but the ambers change intensity while driving. They get brighter when I step on the gas pedal. I think its because of the difference in resistance from the factory halogen fog lights to the leds. Has anyone had this problem? I might install the relay that came with the lights in conjunction with the factory wiring so I can still use the factory button and not have to install another switch on my dash and rewire the whole set up. Any suggestions?
