Default Lag

Have noticed my 13 KR has a bit of stutter right off idle just as I press the gas at low speeds. Is this normal cause I don't recall my 11 doing this. It's not a shudder just a big lag. If I take off. From a light at a more light but moderate speed never does it. Could this just be going so slow on the pedal turbos lag?

This is anecdotal at best but I've read several people report that the 13's have been "de-tuned" over the 11's. You may not be imagining it and it's probabbly Ford's way of dealing with bigger problems that the first generation of EB were showing.

I think a aftermarket tune is the only way to get it more responsive but that can open a different can of worms.

my truck has been in the shop 3-4 times for this exact problem. I have a thread here somewhere. all that has been done is a reflash and nothing helping me. I even gave the salesman a ride back to the dealership when he delivered my truck. at the first stop light guess what... sat there for 4-5 seconds until the trucked moved.

I called again this morning to have them come get the truck when they get time to look at it. if I get a fix I will def let you know. I am not going to hold my breath ... just trying to make it to October/November to get into something different

It may be the DBW delay, a tune will fix that issue.
