Default Kicker substage kit

I'm looking into getting a little bump for my backseat. I seen the kicker substage kit and it's exactly what I'm looking for only problem is crutchfield says it won't fit my truck but another site does. I have a 2013 f-150 xlt without Sony sound and sub with the 4.2" lcd screen. Also the site says I should have a plug somewhere under my rear seat where the kicker would plug into. Any help is appreciated thank you

Stage 3 motorsports sells it as well. Might want to give them a call.

Yeah that's the site that said it would fit and I should have a plug under my backseat I was just hoping to confirm this before I make a purchase

Question

Depends on the model what is needed. With the $700 substage you run a power wire to the passenger side kick panel. From there you connect it to another harness which has a ground, and a third wire that wire taps into the speaker wire under the passenger door seal. The harness then is ran to the back where the sub is mounted (factory wire not needed).

Either way if you have the wire, it will be hidden under the carpet. Pull the passenger rear door seal plate and fish under the carpet.

Hit me up with any questions.. I just did mine yesterday and the substage with the kicker 5x8" sound amazing.

What he said.

As long as you have the wires in the kick panel to tap into, you will be fine. You can get the installation instructions off of Crutchfield (that's where I got mine since mine shipped from a Ford dealer w/o instructions). I know because I have installed 2 now.
