Default Keypad staying illuminated.

Has anyone else had this issue. My keypad is staying illuminated all the time. It still works fine tho. It is always lit dim tho. When I press the buttons it brightens back up and then goes dim and stays that way.

Yeh I still have 10000 km left. Just curious is anyone has had the issue if it's something very simple and will save me a trip to the dealer.

Nope, mine only Illuminates when I open or Unlock the doors, or use the keypad! As I'm sure you know thats not Normal, might be a good time for a Stealership visit!

My 1/2 button doesn't light, is there a way to fix, is it worth taking apart?

Nope, only Replace! You have the option of replacing only the Keypad and wiring Harness, or the entire keypad/handle... Tasca Ford sells both Ive found on Ebay!

well you answered another question. I was wondering if they would have to replace the handle or the buttons. Seeing as my handle is painted and probably doesn't come from ford painted. I was kinda concerned about that.

Depends on your Dealer! Some will only replace the buttons, others will get a ready to paint replacement keypad handle, and paint it to match your truck!
