"Northlight" Labs does indeed have a website, easily found via Google.

I just read that message they have regarding their manufacturing process.
It's all true! It's been at least 2 years with them. Still work and look like day one. They also look like a factory product.
I'm not against anyone trying to make a buck, but Northlight invented them, perfected them and spent a lot, to produce a quality product.
Don't try and save $10 dollars on factory modified one's. You aren't getting a specifically designed product.
Just a guy in his garage with a Dremel. They should be much cheaper, sourcing them from junk yards probably. So the other guys are kind of sticking it to their customer's.

I think you mean they created these for f150's that don't come equipped. They did not invent these.
Yep did not fully appreciate these until I drove my wifes 2013 Edge the other day, it has the correct detents.
Need to get some of these one day!

How about : copied the 2015 F150?
(that was a joke, btw)
I'm a little confused why we seem to be back on the vendor vs vendor topic, considering the other vendor quit re-machining them months ago.

I like to see the wealth spread as much as anyone. I'm also still happy every day Northlight took the initiative and made my life just a bit easier...
For that, they've earned my loyalty.
Seems as if Ford copied them.. That's a joke!

Absolutely life changing, or saving. For instance, I have not killed any of the kids for smashing the doors into nearby objects because of these detents. (although, technically, I got mine from a different supplier)
