Contrast the initial cost of these improved OEM parts vs damage avoided to F150 door or adjacent vehicle when "body in motion..." does its thing!

And installed in under an hour! The install wasn't bad at all. These are great. I don't know what the hell Ford was thinking.
Thanks Northlight Labs! I'm going to recommend these to my F-150 driving buddies.

After looking at mine for a month or two, finally put them on today. 35 minutes later they are done. No problems at all with the install and they work great. Thanks northlightlabs!

I'm sure its most likely in the comments somewhere here, but do these work on the 2014 model? I was on http://www.northlightlabs.com/ looking at the spec sheet and 2014 wasn't in the 'fits' box. Also, just an FYI - the FAQ page isn't working on the northlightlabs site. I would really love to put these in my new(ish) ride!

Very helpful product - makes parking in small spots and the garage easier. Installed incredibly quickly. Excellent fit/finish. Definitely worth the money!

Finally
I have had these sitting in my den for about a year now. I'm not the most handy person in the world, you see, and I was a little intimidated. Plus, I faint at the sight of blood. I know, I'm a wuss.
I decided to tackle the project this weekend and it took me less than hour. My wife was pretty impressed with me. What she doesn't know is that I didn't replace the plastic plug on either side. They're in the right spot generally, but not seated in place. I'm a very visual person and have trouble finding the sweet spot unless I'm right up close. My wife can confirm that for you.
So is it absolutely necessary to replace the plugs? Is it a weatherproofing issue? Is my truck going to be mad at me if I don't? If you tell me I have to, I'll wait until until my toddler gains some dexterity and I'll get his little hands in there. Kidding, I'll just do it when my wife is out so she can't see me struggling...
