Default just ordered an intake

Dont know much about this stuff to be honest, but the reviews were amazing for this one, also got 16% off and a free replacement filter from autoanything... Not to mention free shipping... total 224$ for this with an extra filter... dont think that's a bad deal at all, cant wait to hear my truck with it

And the pro/anti intake comments will soon follow.

I had one on my 04 Tahoe. While I 'mentally perceived' in increase in throtle response I cant say I actually ever physicaly gained any benefits.

It did provide a more throaty 'intake' sound within the crew compartment and under the hood... but none of that was reflected in exhaust noise. However... at the time it was not partnered with an exhaust system or tuner... so I cant comment on potential benefits with that.

Bottom line - if you are happy with it... it's a good deal.

First off ... thank you for the purchase and we are here if you have any questions regarding the install ...

Second ... +1 to what ABN Panzer said about "pro/anti intake comments will soon follow" ... just be ready for the bashing and the compliments. I worked for K&N for 8 years and have always used K&N filters and have never had any issues with running them.

If you are happy, that is all that matters!

Have a good weekend!

So here's my report on the k&n 63 on my f150 5.0
Engine is louder when I punch it
Noticeable improvement in gas consumption. (1-2l/100)
No noticeable difference in HP or response

All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and recommend Autoanything, price was right and transaction was smooth.
Hope this helps someone...

Me too, this is going to be the first time trying an intake, I opted for the S&B intake, will see how it goes as far as sound increase or any throttle response or increase/decrease for MPG.
Right now my truck has a SI/DO flowmaster super 44, but next month i will add a SCT livewire tuner from 5start. So will see...

As long as you like it no one else should matter
