My FX4 needs a/c attention and is going a couple hundred miles back to the dealer I bought it from to let them take a crack at it. That dealer is a half hour from my mothers house so I guess it gives me a reason to visit her. I honestly know of no good Ford shops in this province so I will take my chances lol. Yes I change my own oil. The local dump takes used oil, containers and filters.... I can take it to work and dump it in the building sumps.... you name it. Plus I use my choice of oil and filter this way as well.
Where you at? My cousin is a pipe loader in a little town by williston.

With that said, if you can find a dealer with a tech in the know stick to them like glue.

+1 to that . I am one of the few techs i feel that cares about the customers cars . i have been at ford and lincoln dealers for the last 18 years i left for 4 years and am now back . i can say that there are techs that only care about the money but there are quite a few that truly enjoy this line of work and care about the end product we send out the door (barring fords engineering snafus ) . I know how i would feel if someone ****ed up my vehicles . Sorry to the guys and gals that have had bad dealer experiences .

yeah I agree - a good tech is like a good doctor, you find one, you keep 'em happy and never let them go

I bought my last three Fords at a dealer in a small farming town...population - 12,000. I bring them Krispy Kreme's every time I go for any service work and get treated like gold.

The Ford techs are amazing and I wouldn't take my truck anywhere else.

Not North Dakota lol. Northern Alberta lol. Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.

On a plus the Bonnyville dealer is technically open a couple nights a week until 3:30 am.... like today. Store hours are 8 am to 3:30 am... so damn near 24 hour. Oil town.... and lots of broken Fords lol. Don't worry... Tercier which is the Chev dealer is about the same deal.
