I've always wanted the most powerful phone, so I've never bought an iPhone. However, I put my phone in that indentation on the fold-down armrest/console that is about the size of a pack of cigs.

Fail. No need to interject your opinion on the iPhone... If you have "the most powerful phone" and don't like the iPhone, why even click on the link?

It is easier to read txt msg off phone itself whilst driving. Especially since you might need to type in a response anyways.

What could possibly be important enough to text while driving?

Where to meet someone, to inform running late, to ask what is going on in general, to ask what is on tv tonight, to send pictures of the chocolate lab etc etc. Or just to gossip i guess.

Maybe its just me, but if I have to get in contact with someone while driving, I call them. Texting is just plain too dangerous unless pulled over, or stopped at a light where I live.

Maybe it is just Austin, but situational awareness is everything, and it only takes a few milliseconds to make a really bad decision (making a left turn while a pedestrian is jaywalking, not seeing the econobox making a swoop/squat, etc.) I wouldn't want my reaction time any worse. All someone has to say is "he was texting and not paying attention to the road"... and boom, gross negligence (means insurance may not cover the wreck), perhaps a reckless endangerment charge.

[1]: Here in Austin, peds have right of way all the time. The bums know this. A lot of them will deliberately jaywalk in hopes of getting hit so they can get free legal advice on contingency to make multi-million dollar personal injury claims.

Does anyone know if you can choose the songs off your iphone screen instead of using the sync screen?

I've been looking for a Jack Daniels holder to put next to my iphone holder.

The top of my rolling tray has an indent for a bottle holder

Fits in the console.
