Default Intermittent noise

2010 Lariat. Strange noise that kinda sounds like a CD spinning in your computer or a whooshing sound, hard to explain. It'll make the noise for a couple seconds. Sometimes it'll do it 3 or 4 times in a row. Seems to be coming from the dash. It doesn't do it long enough to pinpoint.
Maybe something in climate control or radio???
Sorry, kinda hard to explain. Any suggestions would be great.

Does your truck have automatic climate control? Sounds like it could be the in vehicle temp/humidity sensor. They have a small fan on them to draw air past the sensor.
