Default Best HID kit for 2011 F150

I've never owned an HID kit, so I'm doing a ill research and trying to find out what will be a good kit. Thoughts?

Are they brighter than stock lights? How do the compare to HIDs?

The retrofits are HID lights. They're projectors that are retrofitted to the original OEM headlight assembly, and then you can use the HID bulbs/ballasts with the proper light cutoff.

Please do not put HID's in regular headlights you will blind people..

Projectors of your choice are the way to go..


Do your research before buying from DDM they have gone way down hill.....Your kit will drop ship from China, be of poor quality, and be poorly packed..

DDM's customer service is even worse..

They have an area just for lighting on the forum. And there is several members that do the retrofitting service. Like others said, plus don't use those hideous blue/purple plug-n-play lights that high school kids use.

HID's in regular housings suck the big one. They scatter and just look like crap. Projectors are the way to go if you can afford them, if not, stick to your halogens. To me, there should only be 2 options.
