Default interiors on 2015

first off I am not bashing any particular trims of trucks... but do you think they will "doll" up the xlt's when the new model comes out. I really cannot wait to get rid of my current fx4. thinking xlt but would like the big screen, more power options, the SD max tow mirrors etc.

I seen the new interiors for the competitors and they are making nice changes. hope ford does the same.

Im sure, the newly redesigned F-150's will have a great looking interior, xlt and up! Why else would they be the Leading Seller in US & Canada in the truck market!

No offense to the XLT crowd but why would you want to get rid of an FX4 for an XLT??

This^^^ That's the beauty of an fx4, you can get them loaded up like a lariat or stripped down like an xlt. Well an xlt with a few options anyway....

Yeah for sure. A baseline FX4 is a grand or 2 more than a similarly equipped XLT. Ford can't put too many features into an XLT. More features = More money. XLT is a great value and is easily the best selling F-150 model out there, so they can only add little things. I don't know about some of you, but when the new model comes out if I had the option to either swing for a new XLT or keep my truck until I could afford an FX4 I'd probably keep my FX4 for awhile.

see, if I had a paid off truck, there's no way i'd consider a "new truck payment" just because I wanted a new truck smell, or a newer look.

i'd wait for the 2015's if I was going to do it tho.

That smell isn't good for you anyways! Plus, they make a scented air freshner for that!

In my youth I let my inner scrooge make buying decisions and then regret not buying up later, this time I bought the Max Tow KR so I would have no regrets or shoulda coulda woulda,,I tend to owner my vehicles for a very long time, until they start aging out parts and wear down. So hopefully this truck will serve me well for another 10-15 years. I like the XLT models, they give you great value over many higher trims. I see Ford always giving the XLT alittle more each and every year. I would think the XLT model is one of there top sellers.

I see this all the time someone liking my FX4 and buying something with less, then wishing they had of got more options. If I can't afford what I want new I'll look for newer one like I wanted. If I'm going to be driving something for a few years might as well like it.
