Default Interior Touchup Help

Doing a mod on my 2012 and scratched up my driver side dash panel. The silver piece that holds the headlight ****. Anyone know of a good paint match? Like a spray paint from an auto parts store?

Thanks.

You may be better pricing out replacing it with some OEM parts. The paint is not going to match and by the time you take it off and sand/paint it may be worth $65 to just replace it and be perfect. I had an RX8 that had these similar painted plastic parts so they looked aluminum. They got scratched easily and I painted them several times. I then found them online new in plastic for $75. What a waste of time painting them.

Good luck.

Found a pretty decent paint match to finish my DSP controller install. No need for a new part.

I use to do this for a living at used car lots. I can't remember the brand of the paint, but it has a white label with a very light purple box (if I remember correctly). If yours is like mine the color you should get is called Driftwood Metallic. The company also makes a bumper coat, if that helps you with the brand. And you can get it at auto paint stores and sometimes you can find it at O'reily's.

Nope. It's the controller for the Alpine PXA-H800.

Ohhhh Ok. Looks ALOT like one of those detachable-face alpine single DIN decks. Why'd you put it there and not the console? Just curious.

Sorry for thread hi-jack.

No worries.

Just couldn't find a better spot really. Wanted easy access but barely noticeable. My wife never knew it was there until she saw me messing with it.
