Installed Sync update, wrong language pack

Just to update, I fixed this issue today finally. On the XDA developers forums, a guy said to do the following. I copied and pasted from their forum.
To downgrade from 3.10 to 3.8 for North America simply download the update package from Ford server http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/swpart...kageNARev2.zip and replace the original autoinstall.lst file to this:

From there, I downloaded the correct update for 3.10 which is the North America version (use this one if you need to update MyFordTouch to 3.10
And here is the full 3.10.16180 US revised update (NA-Lang pack EN-US_FR-CA_ES-US for Ford/Lincoln)

Possible 3.10 US language packs are:
1. South America EN-US_PT-US_ES-US http://ivsu.binaries.ford.com/swpart...7-HE_64709.ZIP

by replacing the EA5T-14F497-xE file inside SyncMyRide folder and inside autoinstall.lst
Ignore the final 3.8 confirmation prompt, it's 3.10. In case anyone wants a different splashscreen, it can be installed easily by modifying autoinstall.lst in the following installation:

I don't mean to jack this thread, but I logged into owner.ford.com and it said there is a SYNC update. I downloaded the update and put it on a USB drive. I put the USB drive into the USB jack in my truck and it said it could not load it. Are the SYNC updates only for units with navigation?

Complete the following steps in detail and you wil update your version on Sync
1. Download your latest update from Ford. Mine was DL3T-14D544-AG
2. Unzip the file
3. Format a flash drive for FAT32 (this is a must for Sync update to version DL3T-14D544-AG)
4. Copy the SyncMyRide directory, and files autoinstall.lst and install.lst to your flash drive
5. Remove flash drive from computer.
6. Start F-150 Truck and leave it run during the entire update
7. Insert the flash drive into the USB port of the truck
8. Press the truck Meun button
9. Scroll with the right radio **** to SYSTEM SETTINGS
10. Press OK on truck (Right radio button, push in)
11. Sroll to ADVANCED
12. Press OK on truck (Right radio button, push in)
13. Scroll to INSTALL APPLICATION
14. Press OK on truck (Right radio button, push in)
15. Sync update will now install, the system will prompt you that the install is complete. But it is not, wait until you get a system prompt that Sync update is complete.
