Any one know we're to get one of these shipped to Canada?

Fortin is a Canadian company, you should be able to find someone local (in Canada) to get it from.

check their website. https://fortin.ca/

I just purchased it as well. It sounds too good to be true at half the cost of the OEM starter that still needs new keys cut and programed from Ford. Ill provide an update once I get it and do the installation.

I hope I didn't just toss $100 out the window.

Mine works great, except for the poor range which is common with these trucks. I've had mine for about 3 months now with no ill effects.

Will it work if you only have 1 key and 1 fob? I havnt got a 2nd set yet and can't find a remote start system that will work with only 1 key

My understanding of the system is it basically ties into the start system and once it detects the lock function being activated 3 times it will start the vehicle. I can't see why this system won't work on any vehicle with a keyless entry system. The one the op listed is just specific to these particular f150's. The kit I bough was off eBay, it had a pigtail that was plug and play for my truck, but the module itself was just the universal one and i had to cut off a bunch of wires that were not needed and extend a couple wires to reach the bcm. The one the op listed appears to be a direct plug and play with the correct length and wire already cut that are not needed.

The system comes with a PATS interface that is required to be learned by the truck for the remote start to be able to start the truck. You need two functioning PATS keys to get it programmed.

All Remote start systems, factory or aftermarket will require two keys.

If you have a 2011 to 2014, your best cost effective option is to purchase a Ford 100 series and then have the dealer install it, cut the two new keys that come with it and program them. You are looking at about $200 for the Series 100 and 1 hour of labor at the dealer.

Could you post a link to the eBay item? I'm interested in it and couldn't seem to find it
