Installed fuctioning remote start in 15 min! Unbelievable
 

Well I ordered a "plug and play" remote start off amazon and wow I'm impressed. It uses my factory key fobs and took 15 min start to finish to install. No trip to pay the dealer to activate. You press lock three times and it's starts. I was amazed at how simple its was and would recommend this as a alternative to the 100 series oem set up . I paid $106 minus a $50 gift card I had. So $56 and 15 min of my time.

Did you use a key with out the start button?

I have the same kit on my truck. It works great except the range on my remote sucks!! Unless I'm within 50 ft it won't do ****.

Yup just the three button . All you do is hit lock 3x

I've had good luck with my factory fobs. I do change the batteries twice a year though.

Reviews are really good for this kit. Just curious does the heater/ac start like oem when it is cold/hot outside?

Very cool! Will this work with my standard/manual climate controls? I guess whatever I left on will come on.
