AJ would beat the price for sure, just pick up the phone.

From Injens homepage

Injen has set pricing on intakes, authorized dealers have to follow the rules on set MAP pricing. Its not fair that these unauthorized dealers can sell it at whatever they want. Thats why the price is higher, not because they are trying to gouge you.

I am trying to help you guys out, be legit. So if you want a warranty on your intake and the best price, 800.877.1911 is the number to call.

Edit: Injen just posted this on their Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...&type=1&ref=nf

"Careful when purchasing Injen Products, we will NOT warranty any products purchased from these online retailers!"

I'm confused. . . how are these dealers getting them cheaply if they are not authorized by the OEM to sell them?

Here's my question: what kind of warranty do you need on a tube with an air filter attached to the end? If this thing fails and messes up your truck and Ford denies warranty coverage is Injen going to pay to fix the damage? I seriously doubt it. Their warranty is on their part which isn't likely to fail anyway. Even if it does the $300 cost of the intake is the least of your concerns. I say who cares if it has a warranty if the price is a lot better from an unauthorized retailer. I wouldn't say that for an expensive tool or piece of electronics but there is really nothing to an intake.

They buy from a third party source, a warehouse company.

Its cheaper from the authorized dealers, thats what I am getting at. Who knows, maybe the filter starts to fall apart, would you rather pay $60 for a new one or receive one from Injen at no charge?

You are right though, Injen products are not likely to fail.

I dont know guys, I just dont see the reasoning behind paying MORE from someone who wont/cant take care of you in the end game. Mind boggling

How is it cheaper? I did not know captwholesale was not authorized? They had the 295 price and no one else was even close. injen makes great products! I will take my chances on this one!

Why does it sound like you have a hidden agenda here and are trying to skirt signing up as a vendor?

Is this product likely to fail in some catastrophic way? No. So buy the cheapest one available and be happy with yourself that you saved a buck or two. Who gives a rats rear about authorized or not. It's $300 not $3000.

Why does it sound like you have a hidden agenda? You have done nothing but bash captwholesale and others as unathorized venders. Sounds like you have something personal? Let people buy it where they want! I could care less, all I did was google pf9013wb and captwholesale was the cheapest vender. I then placed my order and shared my expeirence with others because it was cheaper. I received an injen 9013wb and had great service! End of story!
