I've had my VP for about 3 years now and am really happy with it. Only issue I have noticed is keeping the top clean. Even with washing it with soap and water as the instructions tell you, it doesn't seem to get completely clean like the rest of my truck. Specifically inside the texture of the vinyl. Do any of you know an secrets to cleaning the cover really well.

Well, I have had mine on for going on 2 1/2 years now. I have never used the "recommended" stuff, and besides regular wear and tear it still looks good. I guess that horrible B2B had done well enough?

Hi Guys,
I like the looks of the BakFlip VP. It has been out since ~2012. Anyone that has had the cover for ~4 years have some input or thoughts on the durability of the cover?
Thanks in advance.

The durability is TERRIBLE in my experience. Just after the warranty expired the part that connects to the rails pulled completely off the cover. I have epoxied it a few times to get some more time. But now the vinyl cover is completely tearing away in multiple places. It is safe to say I won't be spending any more money with BakFlip.

Sigh ... I have read that elsewhere. Shame. It looks perfect. How old is it now?

It's 4 1/2 years old at this point. But the vinyl started peeling at-least a year and a half ago at the seam. And the piece that connects the cover to the rail first came apart around the 2 year mark.

I also have had this cover for about 3 years or so. Mine is also really falling apart at the joints. Itʻs been that way right after the warranty expired. I also tried calling CS for suggestions on how I could fix the problem of everything coming apart. The rep I spoke to was not willing to help at all, and gave me the feeling that I was bothering him. I definitely will not be buying any more products from their company. It is an awesome product when new though. I just wish it held up better, and their CS was more helpful. Thatʻs just my two cents.
