Worked great for me and I have other f150 guys asking were I bought it .... took me a.few minutes to cut and make the ball fit again ... cheapest mod ive done

Just my 2 cents - I tested the radio reception with the stock antenna vs the Autozone "Raptor - European Style" stubby (10 bucks) and I could get only half the number of stations with the stubby but for me that is ok so I left it on. The thread is on the short side so may need a drop of glue in time. Will see how it holds up.
As for the quality / look of it - I think this is mostly down to the eye of the beholder. Personally I think a matte aluminum one actually may look a little out of place given that the housing is plastic. The AZ stubby looks fine and should hold up ok. Worth the money.
