Went to start the truck this morning and key wouldn't turn over in ignition. Never had this happen b4. Finnally after trying to work the wheel , it freed up and was good to go. What's the deal?

 

The steering wheel probably was turned and locked against the cylinder lock. Just move the wheel a bit and it work.

Usually happens then the truck is turned off with the steering wheel turn almost all the way over one way or the other.

 

the wheels were straight on.
