Default If you are installing the Splash guards!!

I waisted my money buying the OEM splash guards for my new F150 3.5 Platinum, because they didn't fit on the truck very well, they look crooked and don't sit on the fender flares flush, don't buy these ones.

I removed them from my truck and today installed the WeatherTech ones Mud flap No-Drill Digital Fit and they were very easy to install and look awesome!!

my OEM ones are great as well. though I did have to trim like 1/8" of an inch off of the inside edge in the front when I put my terra grapplers on.

I bought a set of OEM and did a test-fit on my FX-4 and, no...they don't fit well at all with the factory moulding/flares on the wheelwell arches. I'd be interested in seeing these WeatherTech ones, they make fine products overall and hopefully they'll fit better than the OEM ones, which in my opinion suck. I've NEVER had a vehicle without mud guards so it is somewhat driving me bonkers not having them on my truck.

I bought WeatherTech mudflaps for my FX4 from Amazon.

They fit great and were pretty simple to install! FYI-The fronts were a little close to the step bar but still fit.

I feel it may be worth pointing out that there are different part numbers from Ford for splash guards for trucks with/without factory fender flares. perhaps this may be the cause for some of your problems.

I have the OEM flaps as well. The front went on no issues. The rear was a pain. Did not look straight at all. I ended up using some washers and tweaking to get them to look good. Asked the dealer about it and they said oh ya, we have to mess around with them to look right too. Now it makes me wonder what part number they gave me and what they have been using?
