I HATE winter gas!
Beginning in October up here in the PNW, we have no choice but to use oxygenated, ethanol infused (10%) gas. Our gas mileage absolutely goes in the tank (pun intended) when they switch to this winter blend.
Although I LOVE our EB, it seems to suffer worse than other engines I've had with this AWFUL winter gas!!!!
I was getting 18+ in town over the summer without even trying, and now I can't get over 15.5 no matter how hard I try..........I hope that the corn farmers and the US government are proud. This simply CAN'T help our consumption numbers for total barrels of oil................rant just begun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!

Yes sir I feel your pain... It has been hitting me this month as well. The "miles till Empty" display in my A5 even reads 25 miles less when full with winter blend. Even the computer is saying **** this gas

I would think that the total tailpipe emissions would be about as bad as regular gas because of the increased consumption...this is as good an example of "government taking good care of us" as I can imagine right now.....this SUCKS!

I noticed it big time in the Hemi, Im getting 1 litre per hundred km difference with this truck, figured it would be worse, I dont know how much ethanol we have up here at most stations, I know husky and mohawk state their ethanol but nobody else does.
