I can see when backing now - Reverse HIDs
Alright so here they are... I'm pretty impressed with a cpl of them.. and for the field ones... u cant really see how far they shine but its pretty awesome.
Only one thing i've noticed that I may change eventually... When they first turn on, they flicker for 1-2 seconds and then steady out... I believe this is because I didn't put in a relayed harness... so SUGGESTION: put in a relay harness.

looks awesome man.. thinking about doing this now but i dont have much luck with hids, i have them in my headlights now but i have a history of burning them out or messing something up.. i would love to see pics of your wiring if possible, pppplllleeeaaassseeee
Ill see what I can do about getting pics of the wiring. They are all taped up but Ill still try. Although it will be a cpl days, I want to find a better way to secure the ballasts.
Wait, you don't have a relay harness? So you are firing these ballasts off of stock wiring? They take a ton of voltage to ignite the bulbs, thats a great way to start a fire. You need to wire them direct to the battery with higher awg wire and a proper fuse.
Yup. From what I've read, u don't really need the harness on 35w HIDs. Not to say that's it's not sketchy thou. I plan on doing the relayed harness as soon as I take things back apart but since the reverse lights aren't on for long amounts of time, I'm not too worried.
And... When I installed them, I had them on for about 10 min to make sure everything worked right.. The taillights were still off and no hot wires.
The circuit has a fuse which should blow if too much power is being drawn. It's probably not good for the reverse switch thou.
