Default HUGE Problem with my fx4.....

I just can't believe it.

After only a year of ownership, 8900 miles, the tensioner for the flap that covers the vanity mirror on the sunvisor broke and now the flap hangs open about a 1/4 of an inch. This causes the light to blink on and off, as the switch gets activated when the visor is open.

I am going to make the dealer get me a new truck. This is unacceptable!

I'm just kidding. LOL.

It will be fixed under warranty. It's no big deal. Now everyone else knows how stupid these threads sound over piddly little issues.

You should demand compensation for your lost wages while having to visit the dealer as well! ( dont mention the fact that you are on disability though )

Also, don't tell the dealer that when you park the truck at home that left side sits about a half inch higher than the right because they may void the warranty claim due to gravity.

What you really should go straight to Ford Corporate and tell them this. How are you supposed to put on your makeup while driving if the little door doesn't stay open. Oh the shame of it getting off late to work and not being able to put on makeup while you drive. Oh wait a minute it was the passenger side. You should be at least given a 2013 to drive while yours is being worked on

Also you forgot to say if this was an Eco or not
I had both of mine brake on my Explorer

Damn, you beat me to the punch-line by one minute!!!

He should have put the words ECO or EB in his headline, like so many like to do; and that would ensure a lot of attention!

A year ago when I brought my truck home I opened the door and hit the wall in the garage...FIRST DAY!

I'm taking it back tomorrow and demand they repaint the whole truck. Bastards!

This is unbelievable:

I decided to plastidip my entire engine bay on my EB, since I love the look of spray plastic.

I even plastidipped the intercooler!

Now my dealer is telling me that the turbos overheated and exploded, and that i'll need to put a new motor, cab, frame, and bed on the truck to correct the issues.

HOW CAN THIS NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY??

My friends dads cousins third wife plastidipped her entire Dodge Ram, even used plastidip in place of oil, and it runs better than any truck i've seen. Even gets 83 miles per gallon!!

This just further solidifies my decision to never buy a POS ford again!!

**figured i'd add some more popular forum topics into the mix, just for fun **
