Default Hub centric ring

2011 fx2 eco. Has anyone used a hub centric ring for an after market rim? If so did they work for vibration? Is it safe to tow with them?

Only vehicle I ever bought wheels for that needed them was my 2008 Mazda 3, I had no vibrations after running them but I never used it to tow.

I’m not an expert, but the wheel should ride on that lip, not the lug nuts, so make sure it’s substantial enough to carry the load.

I'd look for a wheel that is specifically designed for the ford platform, not a multi platform wheel. Black Rhino wheels do this across all of their products, as well as some other certain wheels from other brands.

You're thinking wheel spacers and you'd still be wrong on that

LOL. I was not thinking spacers. When I see such a rig towing (with any of these add-ons), I either speed up or slow down to be far away.

i highly doubt that, hub centric rings are not something you can even see without removing the wheel. Do you speed up or slow down with every truck running aftermarket wheels then?

I stay out of their way. Call it profiling, I don't care. Also stay away from Priuses and semis. I stay farther than 6' away from people, too. (preferably 100s of feet) Kinda funny this year watching them try to do the same.

And yes, you can see crappy 12-hole wheels pretty easy.
