I have noticed that new highways and streets, including new businesses are not showing up on the GPS in my truck. Does anyone know how you can update these?

You need the new A7 map card from Ford. eBay has them and Amazon, about 120-160 depending on seller

 

A6 was worse then my A4 I went to tenn and with my A4 and 6 months later same place with an A6 and it didn't even show the subdivision like my A4

 

Holy hell I just bought A6 not that long ago and A7 is out already?

 

A6 is the most recently available for 2014 F150 according to Ford

There's a couple available in the for sale section or you can find them on ebay or amazon. Just recently updated to A6 but ran into an issue where my sync needed to be updated as well. Keep that in mind if you install the A6 card and it doesn't read.

 

I'm running sync 4.3 and didn't have issue with the A6 card. I'm holding out on updating to 4.4 after reading all the issues it has.

Am I the only person that thinks this is a damn rip off?!?!?!?!?!
We paid thousands of dollars already on this truck and the huge pocket filling execs in Ford are trying to fill their pickets more by charging us for a simple update that could be downloaded to our existing card for free????
This is BS... I have never been so pissed off at Ford ever before. I am shocked that in this day and age of technology that they will even try to do this. I hope they get hacked.

I don't like having to buy new GPS cards anymore than everyone else. I try to remind myself, even tho we seem technologically advanced, we really are still in the infancy stage.
We are only 20 years into personal computers.
Only 10 years into cars with more than a tape deck. Yes my 2005 still came with a cassette player. That was a real shocker of how slow automakers adapt to technology.
Just think how pathetic it is, that some places still don't get cell phone coverage, and still spotty service in big cities. That is pathetic and infuriating, that I pay so much and they are too slow and cheap to install more towers or signal space.

Anyways brother, I hear you. The fact I can turn on my heat with my voice, but I have to become an English translator, to enter an address is aggravating as hell.

 

Im leery of those my sister bought one and it was fake I bought mine from the dealer. Cost me 20$ more but I think i was worth it and I got it immediately.
