Default How to shut up sync?

When I set up my sync and bluetooth I opted not to have sync call 911 in case of air bag deployment. Now, every time I start my truck Sync "warns" me that 911 auto call is disabled.

How do I shut that thing off from warning me every time I start the truck? Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have the same issue. I have not been able to locate any info in the sync manual or online to address this.

The only time it irritates me, is if 'Rush' is on the radio, and it causes me to miss a key point of the discussion.

norcal....not being political here...but when you think you're missing a key Rush point, just remember his thoughts run along the line of "Dems bad, Republicans good".

No, his thoughts run along the lines liberals bad, conservatives good.

In any event, try this NorCal and let me know if it is helpful:

How about just enabling 911? Then you wont be 'warned'.

Yes, he even bashes some of those in the GOP ranks, who do not keep the [conservative] faith.

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look.

Default Sync 2.1

A new version is available at Syncmyride.com

9L2T-14D544-BE Version SYNC V2.1
This new software release, based on customer feedback, will improve Ford's 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report features. Now you can disable the '911 Assist is set to Off' speech reminder. If you choose to turn it off, a line of text reminding you that 911 Assist is disabled will continue to be shown on the radio display. In addition to the 911 Assist enhancement, the Auto Vehicle Health Report feature will now have a default setting of 'OFF'. Simply switch to 'ON' if you wish this report to be automatically generated.

Also contained in this release are improvements to USB and Bluetooth features and phone and media device support.

Please Read: This update will take up to 8 minutes to complete. Approximately 60 seconds after you begin the installation, you will receive an Installation Complete message. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR USB DRIVE OR TURN OFF YOUR VEHICLE. You must wait an additional 4-8 minutes until you hear a second Installation Complete message before you can remove your thumb drive. During this interval, while the update is loading, SYNC will not recognize your mobile phone or media device. Be sure to have your vehicle engine running throughout the entire installation process. After Installation- Bring your USB drive back to your computer to report the successful installation
