It says on the battery along the side. First letter and number. That's how I know mine is 7 years 2 months old.

Replaced the one in my 2013 recently with an Odyssey AGM battery. The engine cranks over so much faster now. I got 20% off and free shipping buying it online from Autozone. Still $220 for a damn starter battery! I've had great luck with their stuff on other engines though, 10 year life is not uncommon with those bad boys. No acid to leak/corrode terminal is nice too.

batteries simply wear out over time, so giving people miles vs time can be misleading (I think). do you keep the battery clean, and clean of corrosion and dust? how old was it when you bought it (manufacture date of battery) ?

I like to spray some of the red battery terminal cleaner, it supposedly cleans and helps conduct too!

3 years is good if you do not check water in a wet battery.

I had a napa gold battery in my 97 corolla that I replaced last year. It was installed in 01, thats 14 years old. That was a LONG life for a battery. I got lucky.
Rightfully said above !!!! I noticed Ford quite a few years ago Ford started using exclusively 650 cca batteries in most if not all models.
My experience you put a good battery with a good alternator...check & clean your terminals on a regular basis & you will have "NO" starter /battery problems for many years (6++)
When needed I try to buy a battery with a rating of @ least 850 cca........generally speaking poor maintence & if your battery goes dead multiple times it will shorten it's lifespan considerably !!
