How limited is 2013 F150 Limited?

Congrats on the Limited! It's a sharp truck IMHO and should serve you well. It took me a little while to warm up to the "Huggy bear" leather, but I love it. Now the bad news. The hate for the Limited is Unlimited (HA HA), almost to the point of a lowered F150. And heaven forbid you lower your Limited. I enjoy the fact of not seeing three or four models of my exact truck running around. Enjoy your truck and just realize the love is very Limited!

In 1965 my father bought a Ford Fairlane 500 Ltd. It was his first ever new car. When people would ask him if it was a limited production vehicle he would say "sure" it was limited to all the cars that Ford could sell.

Same for me I'd like one too but it was a bit rich for my blood I still have other toys to waste some money on. They cost a **** ton more in Canada to boot. By no means I'm not green with envy about others with them. I'm satsified with mine too

If you're interested in knowing the production numbers for your truck, you can call the Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-392-3673 and submit a research request. They'll get back to you with a breakdown of everything, and can even let you know how many of your color truck at your trim level were produced. Let me know if you have any questions!

In my case, the Limited just happened to be my favorite driving truck on the lot during test drives. I wasn't looking for a swanky truck, but my wife certainly likes the luxury features. In fact the FX4, Platinum, and other trucks on the lot were not all that much lower priced.
I needed the truck to basically serve as a replacement for my SUV (hauling kids and family to sports, school, church, etc) so we had a requirement for the SuperCrew Cab (that jumps the price on any F150). But I also just moved to a farm that we will be ramping up cattle production on. So I need a truck to haul trash; to move gear like fencing, lumber and firewood; to blaze new paths and alleys; and hopefully moving chickens, produce and beef to sell at the farmer's market.
For all those haters, I bet my F150 Limited has already had more cow crud, mud, and true off-road time than most folks on this forum (truly making my own road with a chainsaw and pulling the stumps with the F150 Limited or hauling out cedar and locust logs for hand-split rails and fenceposts.
Just goes to show that you do not need big honking knobby tires and a fixed set of running boards to have a kick***** 4-wheeling truck. And yes, we do use the tailgate step

Ain't that true. Lot of people hate just because you can afford it. Not all trucks need to go off road and I don't understand the hard-on people get about that. If I wanted a truck to go driving in the bush a lot, I would have bought one for that. I bought my truck because i wanted a luxury truck and to for the odd hauling that I do as well as my small trailer. It's a perfect pavement princess and I plan on keeping it like that.
