How limited is 2013 F150 Limited?
Noticed that my 2013 F150 Limited has a number plate indicating the number of my truck. Leads me to wonder How limited is the 2013 F150 Limited? I googled but can't find how many were actually manufactured. Anyone know?
BTW- this is my first Ford vehicle. I was not looking for the limited but it was the best driving truck on the lot. I love it! I traded in a three week old Ram 2500 PowerWagon and am much happier...though I miss having a winch.
UPDATE: the number plate does not have an X of Y indicator, just says X

Having a "limited" edition of the best selling vehicle for the last few decades means it's not that limited, nice truck though which is what matters.

See? It works in monkeys!
Of course they're Limited!
- Limited in payload (with those bells & whistles it's lowered to 1300lbs)
- Limited in towing (a GVWR of 7200lbs)
- Limited in off-road capability (what with those 22" street tires..)
The last item is of little significance as *most* Limited owners never go more off-road than the dirt road to the lake house...

"limited" these days is just a trim designation for most manufacturers. As in "fully loaded". I find in most cases limited editions are specific to the year, and the options change from year to year. Unlike your basic trim packages.
