Took me like 6 months before I stumbled across the heated mirrors. With the camera doing reverse choresnI never really defrosted my rear window...but on day I did! Should have seen the surprise on my face.

Granted, this is coming from the guy who just figured out the steering wheel is telescopic last week...after owning one of these trucks for 2.5 years, lol.

 

Didn't any of your salesmen, give you guys a demonstration of what button does what before leaving the lot? Every make Ive owned with heated outside mirrors, have been Activated with the Rear Defroster!

 

They tried, lol, the normal car buying process is such a long drawn out mess...once my banker says write the check I'm out the door in 5 minutes. No offense to any of them that may be on here, but I cannot stand car salesmen.

 

Agreed Most are Annoying, I just like to be shown which button does what before Cruising off and saying " ****, how do I open the power sliding rear window" lol...

 

I bought mine used from a Chevy dealership. I knew that the rear defrost controlled the mirrors but like I stated earlier, every other vehicle I've owned that was equipped with heated mirrors had little symbols on the glass. My truck doesn't have those symbols so I don't know if they are heated or not.

 

I was just looking at my Window sticker for my truck yesterday
Noticed it had a line for heated mirrors
I have the rear sliding window, so no rear defrost
I just went out & looked....it has the rear defrost button for the mirrors
I don't know that I have ever used it.....will try it next storm
