Default How do I remove this dash panel?

I want to fish a USB wire to where it will slip out between the dash and this A/C panel. How do I loosen or remove this panel? I don't want to break anything. Thanks!

Or, if it's easier, maybe I could remove the center trim panel that surrounds all the A/C, radio, and nav controls. Whatever the group thinks is easiest. I'd need instructions on how to remove either of those.

I have purchased a ProClip that will go right here, and I want a charger cable hidden right next to the ProClip

The trim panel around the instrument cluster has 2 screw in the top off it that have to come out, then the trim panel has to be pulled out. Then the silver panel will pull out.

I don't know if it's the same on newer years, or trucks with consoles, but mine just pulled out with my hands. No tools needed.

When you say "instrument cluster, do you mean the gauges to the left or the nav/radio panel to the right?

OK, I have a different dash than that in two ways.
1) I have a center console with floor shifter model and the silver panel seems to run under the edge of the center console at the bottom. No where to grab down there.
2) I don't have that little indention at the top center where you must have some sort of display screen. I have a nav unit in the dash and that top area is different. (Look at my picture closely - you'll see that it's different from yours).

I think different trim level trucks come apart differently.

Pull the little mat by your info screen above the radio, there are two 7mm screws, now use a trim tool or a really small flathead screwdriver and pop out the rectangular black piece holding the cigarette lighter, 3.5mm Jack and USB port. You will find a third 7mm screw.

Once these are all out grab top and bottom and pull back, it may take a good yank as now it's held in with 4 clips. Be careful not to yank to had as there are wire bundles hooked.

Once this is done you now start at the bottom and just pull on the trim piece as it's just held with clips and a little lip that slides under the last on the gauge side.

If you get face piece out you may not need to loosen the silver trim piece.

I ment the bezel around the speedo and tach. I have a 2013. That's what you have to do to mine. That piece overlaps the left side of the panel you want to remove. You don't have to remove the rubber mat and the screws under it unless you wnt to take that piece out.

Sorry, I just read back through the posts and saw you have a console. I'm not sure about that. I've seen pics and details of taking yours apart, but I don't remember the process or where the post was.
