Default How do I paint chrome?

I am looking to paint my chrome grill surround as well as mirror caps. I am certain I saw a post about it before but I cannot find it anymore! I tried the search button and everything but "paint" and "chrome" doesn't narrow it down too much. Any suggestions?

Anything I have ever read states you must scuff or completely remove chrome to paint it and have it last.

Honestly I just paid to have someone paint it, only $100.

Bahaha good idea. To paint chrome you need a very high adhesive primer like bull dog. With that you would need a paint booth so nothing gets stuck to the primer and have trash in the paint.

Grill looks good!!!

What about painting a chrome bumper? I thought about hitting it with 80 grit and sanding the hell out of it

I imagine a chrome bumper would be a hell of a job. That is a lot of chrome to sand off, then paint expenses! I bet you could but it would be a long day haha
