Default How do I get 8" of lift using a 6" Skyjacker?

Just came across the deal of a lifetime. I got a brand new 6" Skyjacker for my 2012 F150 for $600! Thing is, I want to clear 37s with room, not crammed in. I heard you can add a level kit to a suspension lift. Tips, pics, and info appreciated. Rear will be using an AAL setup.

What wheels/offset/tire width are you looking to put on? A stock F150 will clear 35's with just a leveling kit using the right wheels. You may be able to clear 37s with your 6 inch kit if you're careful with your offset choice.

If not, a body lift or minor trimming to the fender well would clear them.

Skyjacker says to use a 20x10 with 5.5 backspace. I plan on using 37x13,50R20 tire.

My main question was if I could use a level kit with the suspension lift.

I posed this same question. The consensus is yes you can. Others are doing it.

But if you get the Bilstein 5100's up front, you won't need the front level strut spacer. You can just crank the Bilstiens to their full 2"+ lift.

For the rear there are a few options. AAL like you said. New full 6" leaf spring from Atlas. Or added block spacers.

I have the 37" Toyo MTs with just the 6" FabTech lift. I did have to trim the front airdam and some of the fender well. They still rub at full lock if the front is compressed at all.

When I get my new garage, with a taller opening, I'm going to crank my Bilstiens to the full 2" and install the Atlas 6" leaf springs w a 2" block spacer.

Good Luck!!

If the front uses a spacer then you can use bilsteins or adjustable coilovers.

If the kit replaced the shock with longer ones in the front then you can use a leveling kit or longer adjustable coilovers
