Default Hoodlight

May be overlooking it but I can't find a light under my hood. Did I pay all this money for a 2010 screw and don't have a hood light or what?

At night it's dark in there and if you need to be under the hood in the first place, you probably don't want to juggle a flashlight. It's just a convenience that even my old Duster had...

I can still miss it. Just because of this thread I will install a couple of LED's under the hood with a mercury switch...

i suggest a hood pin switch. more reliable than a mercury switch.

be sure to connect the ground side of the lights/leds to the hood pin switch

I use an LED small cheap head lamp. That way I can use it for more than just under the hood.

It comes in handy, when you are checking the tranny fluid level, on the ATF dipstick at night.
