Default Holster mount to side of console (flow-through)

I'm a CCW carrier and I would like to mount a lightweight holster to the driver's side of my flow through center console just for when I'm driving, as pictured.

The challenge is that I don't want to drill any holes in the console. I was hoping to find a good industrial adhesive that would stay attached.

I tried the "industrial strength" Velcro that's recommended for dashboards and other moderately high heat environments, but the adhesive backing just doesn't bond to the plastic console surface.

I've thought about the under-steering-column mount that's been mentioned in the forum, but it's not as comfortable a reach and there's just not that much space between the column and my knees. A fender bender would be ugly!

Does anyone have any recommendations on fasteners that might serve the intended purpose? Or another solution?

Thanks!

Nice chunk buddy! I'm getting sick of the ol matte black standard issue... Those grips are sweet

My current setup is nothing special... Slides in nice where the seatbelt clips in

I actually really like the steering column mount. I looked at them at Gum Creek http://www.gumcreekcustoms.com/cart.php and might still have to go that way, but it's just not as comfortable a draw as the console, to me anyway. Also, I do wonder about knee contact in an accident.

I thought about this. I know it wouldn't take much to bond.

Any idea if the dried GG can be scraped off or otherwise removed later, for example if I wanted to sell the truck? Or is it just as permanent as drilling a hole?

You could use some acetone to get it off.
