I can honestly say that Dawson Sears @ RaptorRetrofit is a stand up guy. He runs a tight ship and a great business. Dawson cleaned up a full retrofit/projector swap for me earlier this year without much question or headache. We still email once or twice a month about upcoming lighting upgrades that he has on tap. I'd buy anything that he's producing without any hesitations or doubts.

Did you get the unmodified OEM HIDs (that is what I ordered)? If so you better get out there and take a test drive and report back on the improved vision. Just kidding but I sure like to read your assessment.

You'll love them. No comparison to halogen. I just put xtreme visions in my dads xlt and I still felt like I couldn't see a damn thing. I'm running osram cbi bulbs in mine. Can't really say they're any brighter, but it's a nice bright 5k white that matches my switchbacks and fogs nicely.

What do run for fog lights?

My stock fog lights just plain suck, especially compared to the stock ones I had on my 2010 Ram. The bulbs for the F-150 and the Ram are probably identical so I can only assume that is the size/shape that makes the difference.

Those are just the bulbs and ballasts? Will they fit in the stock reflector bulb opening?

Yes. It's just a 9145/h10 hid setup with a harness. Get a harnessed kit such as the morimoto. Every ford truck I've had doesn't like hid fogs without them.

Sell the stock lights? I hadn't thought of that. I never really thought there'd be a market for them, really. If I do this, how much do you think I could get? (Trying to get the S/O to let me spend the money!)
