Default HID lights

I Have a 2014 FX2 (just got it in December)with the HID lights and every time I drive at night someone flashes me their high beams, are my lights not properly aimed? Or does anyone else have this issue?

The manual has the proper way to aim them, just double check it to be sure.

And you may just get asshats that flash you. Mine are conservatively aimed and I get flashed usually by the guy with faded lens' with crappy halogen bulbs.

I found I had to shim the drivers side light outward to get the proper amount of glare for oncoming traffic. stock they had too much cut off and wouldn't blind anyone.

If your getting High Beamed Alot, you most likely need reaiming! I instslled the oem hids on my 12 xlt myself, as well as aimed them to be just below a pass. Cars sideview mirror!

Ive never been high beamed in the 2 yrs and 2 months Ive had them installed! My trucks is stock, no Level or Lift! Ive notice most trucks that have been Leveled and or Lifted on the road, havent had theyre Headlights reaimed!

Low vehicles there is nothing you will be able to do. I have mine aimed so low that I can see the cutoff line on the road and I've had people flash me when I can still see my cutoff on the road in front of them. People just aren't used to them.

I just installed mine in my '13 XLT (stock, no lift) a few weeks ago using the owner's manual settings. I then did a roadtrip from Ohio to central New Jersey, mostly at night. I was never flashed. The stock setting seemed a bit low to me so I set the cutoff about two inches above the OEM setting. If I start getting flashed then I"ll shift them back down a bit. The cutoff still hits below the rear mirrors of other cars, as best as I can tell.

I sure love these lights! I used OEM projectors with Osram 35W CBI bulbs and ballasts. They make driving at night a pleasure.

First time I got flashed with my retrofit was some moron with one working drl at night as I was cresting a rise in the road. I held my highs until I passed by
I have mine set really low. The top step touches the bottom of another 12th gen following 3-4 truck lengths behind. I still get flashed every once and a while.
