Default HID kits

I'm trying to get a good kit for my 2010 FX2. I have heard retro solutions is good but seems a little pricey. I'm looking for input from a fellow 09+ that has a kit installed. I wish rousch/sallen/Svt would come out with an OEM projector HID kit! I have a feeling those "projector" headlights off eBay are not worth the money, and look too ricer for me.

Yes I did a search but couldn't come up with anything clear. And since have to search for something over 3 letters HID makes it a little difficult.

And I know there was a vendor on here selling some kits cheap but got an email from another member saying they were crapy quality.

Thanks ahead of time.

I have the retro solutions 35 watt 8000k bi-xenon kit with slim ballast installed on my 2010 STX.

The kit was all plug and play as they say and works great. Yes it is more pricey than the other kits but I did my research and live by the you get what you pay for motto. The only thing I needed was some more zip ties but that is because I wanted a super clean install.

The highs and the lows work but I have not needed the highs on even out on the country dark roads. I am stock and have yet to be flashed and the beam is pretty good and doesnt reflect out of control.

Start up and warm up are quick.

The only down side is that I get a bit a static on my radio in AM and FM, not a big for me as I use sirrius and usb/Ipod 99% of the time anyway. They do have a solution if it bugs you.

Bottom line= I love them, best mod so far.

Thanks for the input I might go there so I won't have to worry about it breaking after a year. I only listen to my radio 25% of the time so that static won't be good. What's the solution?

And what bulbs did you use for the headlights and fogs? Like the series number or whatever it is

I used DDM 5000k hi/low and a 5000k fog kits in my 10' and am very happy with them. I've used the DDM kits for a while now in my 3 other vehicles and my harley without a single issue.
A couple of friends also have them in their cars without any issues.

I used Third Gear Performance. Plug and Play Bi-Xenon 6000k, with no problems at all.

The solution is a little deal you plug inline, it is on their website. I didnt do my fogs yet, I was sure I would do them but with the light output I really do not need them so I will take my time on getting them. The bulbs are the same number as the replacement bulb # in your manual, cant remember off the top of my head right now.

The static is not too bad but you definately know it is there. It seems to be hit or miss though as some have that problem while others dont.
