I had the same problem. Too bad that DDM charged me more in shipping than the relay harness costs! They should MANDATE the relay harness with every 55W kit they sell, otherwise you pay shipping fees twice

I got lucky found the relay on EBay $9 with free shipping. But I agree they should Mandate a relay I'm just happy it's fixed and I can focus on a new Mod now

the relay you are talking about is that the harness with the fuse in the wiring that you get from ddm? I had a problem with my 55w ballasts not working and my lights would flicker on once then kick off with the 55w ballasts so I tried the 35w ballast the the ddm service rep suggested and it worked. so I sent back my 55w ballasts which they said were fine so the are sending me the 55w raptor ballasts. hopefully that works so that I can get the most out of my HIDs.

I got the 35W Raptor ballasts. But since I also got the Hi/Lo lights the relay was mandatory.
And yes, it is the multi-pin relay with the inline fuse in the cable that goes to the battery +

You all do realize that you don't need to spend a bunch of money on a relay harness that you can make yourself for less than $10.00?

Im running the ddm 55w kitt in mine with a relay harness. The lows are working fine but the drls flicker really bad. How do you disable the drls? Or make them full power.

Unplug (none) or bypass (full) the DRL resistor down by the front bumper. You can also pull the DRL relay to eliminate them (probably the better solution for none)
