Looks great. Nice to drive a clean truck. Looks like you have plenty of
shade to work in and keep your barley pop cool while you polish.

Just bought some shine supplies from Griot's and plan on getting busy too.

I really think thats a myth on our house weve always had our cars washed 1-2 times a week and have had no problems, btw they are hand washed so i dont know if it has something to do but other than that i think its worse for the paint to be full of dirt than to be clean.

I couldn't stand to go for a year with only 4 wash jobs. Mine gets washed at least twice per week and hand wasted once every few months.

It is possible to rub through the paint (or clear coat in our case) with enough time and elbow grease. It took my old man almost 30 years but he did it. It starts on the edges. That's generally when you stop waxing so damn much. He did it like four times a year with good old mothers paste. That was a lot of rubbing. That old bugger sure did shine after a couple of decades of hand polishing though.

Thanks Guys

The poor truck does get the abuse ... My Ducati ( after every ride ) and PT get (once a week ) washed or spray detailed

But as long as it doesn't rain I'll hit it with the California Duster

I have to say the Ford paint is amazing
