Default Here I go again!

I about a year ago my front driver side speaker went out and I learned on here that it was the wiring harness, so I replaced it. Well last week it went out again, so I have ordered another harness from Tasca Parts. Has anyone had this issue repeat itself?

No to the repeat of an issue with the factory wiring harness, but I've had water issues with those cheap and not weather tight speaker adapter harnesses we all use to connect aftermarket speakers to the factory harness. Pull the connector apart and see if you've got water and corrosion in it. I replaced mine, all of mine, with new ones but applied a good dose of rtv to the backside of the connector where the wires go thru. So far, about a year later, the problem hasn't reappeared.

Same boat here. I kept getting moisture in my harness causing the speaker to fade in and out. The harnesses suck ***! I eventually cut the harnesses off and soldered & used heat-shrink on the wires directly. Haven't had an issue since.

Mine is in the shop for this again. Already replaced speaker and harness. Still cutting out. This is trip #6, btw. I'm running out of patience with it!

How many miles are on your truck, B2E2RUN? I'll see what I can do to help.

my speakers have been in and out for a year, rather annoying. I probably should address it at some point (soon).

Currently at 36,1xx. They are warrantying it, as all previous trips were under 36k miles, obviously.

I look for a bump in the road and hit it to get it going again.

Looking to replace my speakers anyway as the passenger side ones I can hear distortion in them.
