Default help me decide

ran into a guy locally wanting to swap rims and tires. he has 20" matte black xd rockstars on some 33" mud tires. rims and tires are about 3 months old with about 1000 miles on them and he wants to do an even swap. im usually all about black rims but i also like the look i have with the stock too, so im torn between decisions. what do yall think?

Kinda depends on which direction you want to go with your truck, those rims/tires would look pretty cool especially in black..

Shouldn't that be an "Easy Smeasy" decision for you?

(Sorry - couldn't help it)

it would have been a while back, but i've "kinda" been growing up and loving my stock look. not to mention it keeps cops eyes off of me. but ive always loved black rims so i cant make my mind up

I'd keep the stocks. How do you like the XDs? Maybe do the trade and keep the MTs but sell the Rockstars for something you like better?

If it were me I'd just stay away from the Rockstars, I feel like I see 4 trucks a day with them driving around town although maybe that's not the case where you're located.

yea thats another reason why i hesitate over the trade, they're over popular. i think i might stick with my original idea, "the only way i'll get rid of these stock 20s is for some 2011 stock grey 20s"

Keep what you have! I just checked out your photo album. Your rims are about as nice as you can get on an F150 from the factory, about even with the Platinum rims and bettered by only the 2011/12 FX4 20's. IMHO of course.

In November I bought a set of Lariat 20's from a guy with black rockstars. They looked good on his white truck but I kinda prefer the more stock appearance.
I will put the 20's on in the spring.

yea ive decided to keep what i have. gonna keep an eye out locally for a steal on some 2011/12 grey 20s, but in no hurry what so ever. i know right when i got this truck, i just missed a hell of a deal on some 2011 grey 20s. guy sold the rims, sensors, and stock tires with 2000 miles on them for $600. i thought it was spam when i first read it, i called and someone had just bought them the day b4. said he was selling them to get some of the money back on his 24"s. i nearly cried lol

Wow, sweet deal for the yesterday guy!
It is funny how much it sucks just knowing a killer deal had been there for the taking but a moment ago. If feels like a loss, yet nothing was actually lost.

I paid $1000 for my Lariat 20s, complete. Since I won't be mounting them until April or May... perhaps I should have been more patient!
