I'm trying to install the raptor switches into my fx2 does anyone have any how's on this I don't want to wire it into the stock just the acceries. The stock bezel doesn't just let it snap it needs something to hold it up... Any one to help please do post some pics.

Search around, there are a few threads with people who have done the conversion.

To make it fit in the hole in your console, you'll have to make a plastic trim piece to fill the gap. The Raptor console has a bigger hole for the switch bezel to snap into. You could swap in a Raptor console if you want, but they're expensive. Making a plastic trim piece to fit is the easiest and cheapest solution.

Did you buy the Raptor up-fitter switch harness with your switches? If not, that's the easiest way to make them work. It's mostly plug and play to get the switches wired into the truck and then you just run the wires to your lights/accessories from there.

If you don't do that, then you'll have to run all the wiring yourself. Get your power from the fuse box and ground on the body/frame, then go to your lights.

I'm not sure what this phrase means: "I don't want to wire it into the stock just the acceries", so if you clarify that, we might could help you more.

If I remember right, there are no wires coming from the switch bezel, correct? The factory harness just plugs into it? If so, the easiest route might be to get the factory harness anyways, plug it in and then cut off the portions that you don't need. Or you could try finding the plug and lead wires themselves to use. Otherwise, you'll have to open the switch bezel and solder your connections in.

Then just run a simple light circuit back to the switches. You'll probably need to add a relay since I don't believe you'll have one if you don't go through the factory fuse box.

The switches are called upfitter switches, btw, or sometimes auxiliary switches. Maybe that's why you haven't found anything searching.
