So i have a 2011 5.0 screw with 58k miles. Started hearing engine noises and not sure if I'm just over worrying about it from reading all the post on here. It started sounded like the ticking that people say are the normal "injectors" noise. Then it sounded more like a knock and I got real worried. Ran it by the dealer they told me it was exhaust tick? This morning it sounds like it's from the pulley/belt area with the ticking noise in the background?

 

'11 had some primary belt tensioner issues i believe.

 

So I guess that could be the pulley noise. Now I'm just worried about the other noise

 

This was my 'tick' at 79k miles. Started out like all the other videos and graduated to this. I had bought a 100k mile extended warranty so didnt worry about having it looks at until it started sounding like this.

Build date was 3/12. Heard it was a late '11 to early '12 issue.
