Installed these springs yesterday. Finally got a chance to try them out. Here goes...
The Hellwig Part #2003 fits our 3" springs. It's called a Traction Spring, and sometimes a Helper Spring. The Box says part 2003 and part EZ-550.

Cost me $82.95 plus shipping. I feel it was worth it.
I was looking for something to help with grip, because post-tune and CAI, it's been hard to get the wheels to hook up on acceleration (especially in the cold weather / cold pavement, right now).

Also, I didn't want to spend hundreds of $$, or have stuff hanging down from my truck in the winter, or off road... getting salt all over expensive moving parts. So, with internet research, I found a similar set, and called Hellwig.

Hellwig Tech Support (Kevin) helped out. He asked me to verify some measurements, and told me he thought this part would work. He put me in touch with SDTruckSprings, who set up the part. GREAT customer support from Michael, too. It takes a few days to get them made up and shipped, but with patience, they finally arrived. SDTruckSprings has a really awkward "status" feature, but just a call or email, and I quickly had updates.

Overall, fairly easy to install. Pay attention to the torque values for your bolt size. (I felt like they were going to snap, but everything worked out.) The only complication... getting the wheels to "barely touch" (a step in the install), so you need a good, tall set of jackstands to get the frame up high enough.

I feel like they have helped. On acceleration, my truck used to spin through 1st, get up into 2nd... grab/choke, then keep going. Now, I spin a short bit from zero, but pull right up into 2nd and hard into 3rd. Sometimes I'll get a chirp/chirp going into 2nd, but no more loose wheels, like before. Now I just gotta figure out what works better for take-off (Advance On/Off, feather the pedal a bit, etc.)

The truck rides a bit stiffer (but not much). It feels like it "pushes" me now on acceleration, whereas before I felt like I was being pulled... sort of (if that makes sense).

Overall, I'm glad I got them, and worth the price.

Supposedly, these also double as 500# Helper Springs? (bonus)

And the final adjustment says to tighten them, but no closer than 1/4" from the original spring. I had mine adjusted (when tightened) to just shy of 3/8" and Hellwig said that's just right.

Not yet. I probably drove about 30 miles +/- today with them.
Right after I put them on, I though I heard a pop/click when driving over a curb, but today... nothing noticed. I was thinking maybe.. if they make a noise, I might insert a thin rubber pad between the plate and the spring. But so far, nada on the noise.
